As our business grew, it became clear that the most practical way forward was to move over to an online database. As anyone in the Chauffeur / Private Hire sector knows, your booking system is the heart of the business and the single most important piece of software that you’ll use. Moving over from a robust system that you’ve used for years is a very big deal; it certainly gave me lots of sleepless nights whilst mulling over my choices! The system I was using was good, but they have no plans to create an online database. So my choice was simple, change the software or change the way we work.
Firstly, I really liked the fact that Dever offered the 2 month trial. During this period we kept our other system going whilst we really looked at what the system can do. Over and above the straight forward booking, we all probably have ways of doing things or have clients who want information in a particular format. It seemed that I was constantly on the phone, saying ‘could you do this, or that…etc’ Not only did Mark get back to me almost straight away, he would adapt, add and change things really quickly to suit my needs, sometimes in less than a couple of hours.
I am delighted to say that I now have a system that is clean and modern, very easy to use for anyone used to Microsoft office ( everyone? ) and for me the most important thing, someone at the end of the phone, who is always helpful and accommodating, can answer my questions in plain English and who I am confident in.

At Airports Direct we changed to the Dispatch software in March 2010 and have been more than pleased with the results.

I have been using Dispatch now for around 3 years and have found the system easy to operate and understand.
For me it has all the requirements that the council need for a unique booking system, and you can work out set costs via price templates for airport runs or by miles for short runs. The system will even link to Google Maps® and show mileage between points A and B, directions or start and end points.
The aftercare service has been very good, any issues are replied to promptly during working hours. For me running a small chauffeur company I find the system ideal.
